2013 Annual Meeting: Tuesday, March 19

DFA’s 15th Annual Meeting
During DFA’s Annual Meeting, more than 1,300 DFA members, industry executives and guests heard from industry and Cooperative leaders about how DFA and the U.S. dairy industry are seizing opportunities in the global marketplace. During the meeting, we also showcased our hardworking members through photos and video, as well as the décor throughout the meeting space.

On Tuesday, March 19, DFA’s chairman of the Board, Randy Mooney, spoke, as well as President and Chief Executive Officer Rick Smith. A panel including Tom Suber, president of U.S. Dairy Export Council; Larry Jensen, president of Leprino Foods; and Jay Waldvogel, DFA senior vice president of strategy and international development, discussed how the U.S. dairy industry is taking advantage of opportunities in the global economy. Special guest Jason Clay, PhD, senior vice president of market transformation for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), also spoke about how agriculture and organizations like WWF can work together to sustainably solve the global food crisis.
